About us – IQS – Institute of Queer Studies

The IQS is a project under the patronage of the associations “NETWORK – Gay Leadership” and “Z&H – Gay Students Zurich“. IQS was founded by Dr. Jürg Koller and Dr. Fabian Heinz Jenny († 20.10.2016) in 2014.

The IQS is led by a project team, Dr. iur. utr. Jürg Koller (head), Dr. Lorenzo Gatti, Dr. phil. nat. Peter Ramge, Remo Röthlin, and Donald van de Weyer), and a scientific board. The members of the scientific board support the project team in an advisory capacity. The scientific board consists of researchers and lecturers from various disciplines at Swiss universities, ETHs and universities of applied sciences.

The project team works together with universities, universities of applied sciences and other organisations in the German-speaking area on an event-related basis.
