The IQS (Institute of Queer Studies) is a project for the promotion and dissemination of scientific work and findings on LGBTI topics as well as for the scientific exchange and interdisciplinary networking of scientists in these fields.
IQS started in 2014 with scientific events aimed at giving a broader audience an insight into the teaching and research of LGBTI topics. The events usually take place at the University of Zurich.
In the future, conferences will also be offered and research on LGBTI topics will be stimulated and supported with appropriate measures.
